Please answer the questions below and write your comments.
1. What is your reaction to how Mike Schofield treats his wife and daughter?
2. What do you think Richard Pratt will say and do to get out of the situation at the end of the story?
3. How will Mike react? What will he do? How will the evening end?

  1. 1)Mike acts his family rudly. He ignores them.I wonder,if he forgets who are they..
2)They will talk in the next room and Richard will ask Mike to pay too much money. If they don't cover this event,he will be disgraced and maybe he will lose his fame.
3)Mike will be angry but he will get calm with Richard's offer. At first,he only thought money,he ignored his family so he will accept and say that he put spectacles to the room. Then he will take money secretly.

2)He would say "I must go" and run away.
3)He is already out of balance so he can do everything include fight with Pratt.
